Dickinson, ND – Trinity High School Athletic Director, Gregg Grinsteinner announces the hire of Mr. Jonathan Krause as Boys Head Track Coach for the 2022-2023
Coach Krause is completing his first year as Social Studies teacher and Elementary/Junior High Athletic Director at Trinity Catholic Schools. Krause was the Junior Varsity Boys Basketball Coach, as well as track coach this year. He grew up in Grand Forks, ND, and graduated from the University of North Dakota.
“I’m excited to get the opportunity to lead the next chapter of Trinity track and field. Under the guidance of Coach Kovash, the program has been a strong statement on what it means to be a Titan athlete. The future of our program is bright with the coaching staff of Tim Baustian, Kevin Poswilko, and head girls coach Breanna Sisson. I can’t wait to get started with our young and growing team,” says Coach Krause.
Krause also thanks the throwing coaches from Grand Forks: Tim Tandeski, Lee Baker, and Matt Fisher for inspiring Krause’ love for Track and Field, crediting them for helping to be in a head coach position today.
Gregg Grinsteinner stated “Jon understands the importance of track to the development of all-around athletes. He will put that to good use as he continues the program established by Coach Kovash.”
